We have the strangest weather. Last week it was beautiful. This week we had a hail storm that sent dime-sized hail pounding out of the sky. The hail storm caused one of the most frantic rushes ever to move tools, bikes, and furniture in the garage so we could fit the new car inside. We stood inside the garage and just watched the other cars get pounded. Our yard was covered with hail. Once it stopped, the kids thought it was great fun to gather up the hailstones. Now this weekend, the weekend after spring break, some parts of OK are expecting up to 30 inches of snow. And then next week it will be 60 again. Of course we have seasons here- they all happen in the same 7 day period.
The outcome of all of this- we realize just how powerful the weather is, but how we can be protected. When the hail started to come down and David and I were frantically
moving things in the garage,
Ethan reminded us that we should say a pray. He prayed that we would be protected and that our stuff would also be protected. Our cars
got some damage, but all fared pretty well and only came out with some minor hailstone damage.
